PT Phytochemindo Reksa Receives Award from the Ministry of Industry and CBI Netherlands

 

PT. Phytochemindo Reksa (“Phytochemindo”) received an award from the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia and CBI Netherlands as part of the Export Competitiveness Enhancement Program for the Natural Ingredients sector in Indonesia. This program is a collaboration between the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia and the Center for the Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries (CBI), an agency under the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Running from 2019 to 2024, the program focused on export training and mentoring initiatives.

Phytochemindo is an Indonesia-based company specializing in the development and production of high-quality herbal raw materials. To strengthen its capacity and expand its international network, Phytochemindo actively participated in capacity-building programs with the Netherlands Bureau for Industry. These programs included:

Production Technology Training: Phytochemindo gained insights into cutting-edge technologies applied in the pharmaceutical and herbal industries in the Netherlands, including extraction processes, standardization, and quality control.

Workshop on Quality Standards Improvement: This workshop aimed to help Phytochemindo align its products with international standards, including European certifications for herbal raw materials.

Research and Innovation Collaboration: Through this initiative, Phytochemindo collaborated with and participated in training sessions from research institutions in both the Netherlands and Indonesia.

Exchange of Business Experiences: Phytochemindo also joined discussions with industry players in the Netherlands on best practices, market expansion strategies, and sustainable supply chain management.

Patrick Kalona, President Director of PT. Phytochemindo Reksa, stated, “This program will enhance Phytochemindo Reksa’s competitiveness in international markets, expand its global collaboration network, and strengthen Indonesia’s position as a key player in the global herbal industry.”

Phytochemindo received the award on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia's office. The company successfully completed all program activities during the period from 2019 to 2024.
