PT Phytochemindo Reksa Supports Indonesia's Health Resilience through a Workshop

 

PT Phytochemindo Reksa (Phytochemindo) participated in a workshop on Improving the Quality of Research and Community Service organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy at Sanata Dharma University via Zoom on Monday, December 9, 2024. The workshop aimed to evaluate and enhance the quality of research and community engagement by the Faculty of Pharmacy at Sanata Dharma University as a means to support Indonesia's health resilience. The event was supported by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. apt. Dewi Setyaningsih.

Phytochemindo is an Indonesia-based company focusing on the development and production of high-quality herbal raw materials. The company also serves as a strategic partner for educational institutions (universities) and has established many collaborations in research and the downstream development of research-based products.

During the workshop, Patrick Kalona, President Director of PT Phytochemindo Reksa, presented Nadcurmin 336 mg, a product developed from research conducted at Sanata Dharma University. Nadcurmin 336 is the result of research focusing on improving the absorption of curcumin, a compound derived from turmeric.

Patrick Kalona stated, “Collaboration to create research-based products like Nadcurmin 336 requires immense commitment. We will continue to innovate and collaborate with all stakeholders to deliver the best for achieving Indonesia's health resilience.”

For information, the Nadcurmin 336 product has been successfully commercialized and is currently marketed in Indonesia through a multi-level marketing system. In the near future, this product will also enter the ASEAN market and is already being marketed by HBLI.
